Job summary

Gearset is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join a product-driven team building scalable, secure infrastructure. You will work on multi-region AWS-based systems, leveraging Kubernetes, Terraform and a modern tech stack to support rapid, reliable releases.

You will lead automation development, drive observability, and collaborate with developers, designers, data engineers, marketers, and sales to strengthen security and uptime.

Qualifications

• Have in-depth practical experience working on AWS (VPC networking and security, IAM, EC2)
• Postgres RDS, S3, EKS
• Experience in the configuration and running of a CI/CD pipeline NET/C#
• Experience working in an agile development team with a focus on delivering value early
• Experience with building observability and alerting into systems

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation that supports frequent releases and safe changes
• Operate and evolve infrastructure to scale for growing user base
• Improve security measures and incident detection/response
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organisation
