Gearset Limited is hiring a Principal DevOps Engineer to maintain critical production infrastructure used by thousands of teams. You will help implement secure, scalable automation enabling frequent releases and robust incident response.

The role emphasizes collaboration across engineering and other teams, with a strong focus on observability, security and reliability in a multi-region AWS/Kubernetes environment. This is a remote UK position.

Qualifications

• In-depth practical experience with AWS services (VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, EKS).
• Experience configuring and running CI/CD pipelines with NET/C#.
• Experience in an agile development team focused on delivering value early.
• Experience building observability and alerting into systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure for a SaaS product.
• Operate and evolve multi-region, multi-tenant infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate across engineering, design, data, marketing and sales to deliver value and reliability.
• Drive security improvements and incident response readiness across the platform.
