Gearset Limited is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to lead multi-region, multi-tenant infrastructure powered by AWS and Kubernetes. You’ll own critical production systems, drive security, and accelerate safe releases as the company scales.

You’ll work with a cross-functional team, shaping the technical roadmap and delivering high-uptime services with fast feedback cycles. This role offers significant autonomy in a remote UK setting.

Qualifications

• In-depth AWS experience: VPC, IAM, EC2, RDS.
• Kubernetes production-grade operations and cluster management.
• Terraform automation for infrastructure provisioning.
• Experience configuring and running CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and evolve infrastructure to scale for a growing SaaS.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure harmony between app and infra changes.
• Lead security enhancements and protect customer data.
• Build and maintain automation enabling frequent product releases.
• Drive frontend/back-end teams toward value-focused outcomes.
