Job summary

Gearset is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to join our product-driven team and help scale our multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure. You will own automation, security, and observability across AWS and Kubernetes, enabling rapid, safe releases.

Based in the UK, this remote role offers high autonomy, collaboration with developers, data engineers, and design teams, and a path to influence the technical roadmap as the platform grows.

Qualifications

• Have in-depth practical experience working on AWS (VPC networking and security, IAM, EC2).
• Postgres RDS, S3, EKS.
• Experience in the configuration and running of a CI/CD pipeline NET/C#.
• Experience working in an agile development team with a focus on delivering value early.
• Experience with building observability and alerting into systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation for releasing updates safely multiple times per day.
• Operate and evolve infrastructure to scale for a growing user base across regions.
• Fortify security measures and improve detection and response capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value to customers.
• Own and shape the technical roadmap for AWS/Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
