Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced academic researchers to help train an advanced language model on professional presentation tasks. Fully remote, 5-20 hours per week, start ASAP; compensation $70/hour.

Candidates must hold a PhD with 3+ years of active research and a publication record, plus a demonstrated track record of conference presentations and strong written communication. Expert-level PowerPoint and slide craftsmanship with meticulous attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated presentations and slide decks across core workflows (conference decks, research posters, grant figures, results slides, lab meeting presentations, plain-language summaries).
• Present findings and communicate results clearly to researchers and funders.
• Collaborate with Ethos team to improve presentation quality and impact.
