Ethos is seeking a senior research associate to help train an AI language model on professional presentation tasks. This remote, part-time role involves crafting and evaluating AI-generated slides for conference decks, posters, grant figures, and plain-language summaries.

Candidates should have a PhD with 3+ years of active research, a strong publication record, and expert-level PowerPoint skills. Flexible hours (5–20 per week) and ASAP start are available.

• Track record of conference presentations and research communication.
• Expert-level PowerPoint and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated presentations and slide decks across core workflows (conference decks, research posters, grant figures, results slides, lab meeting slides, plain-language summaries).
• Communicate research findings clearly to diverse audiences and funders.
