Job summary

Personal Homecare Pharmacy is seeking a Remote Locum Pharmacist Clinical Checker to join our growing remote team. You will review homecare prescriptions, identify anomalies, and escalate safety concerns while maintaining patient confidentiality and regulatory standards.

Applicants must be GPhC registered with at least two years of clinical experience and be able to commit to regular weekend cover (Saturdays and Sundays). Training will be provided via Teams before you begin.

Qualifications

• Be a registered Pharmacist with the GPhC.
• Minimum of two years’ clinical experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong arithmetic, clinical‑reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable using web-based IT systems remotely.
• Ability to complete initial Teams training with a Homecare Pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Clinically check homecare prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Identify anomalies and potential clinical risks; escalate as needed.
• Record information clearly for audit purposes.
• Understand indications for medicines and interpret doses including variable regimens.
• Ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
