Job summary

New Health is seeking an experienced Independent Prescribing Pharmacist to join our growing digital healthcare team. You will review patient consultations, make prescribing decisions, and support patients through our online services.

You will work autonomously within governance frameworks, conduct video or phone consultations, and maintain high standards of patient safety and documentation.

This remote role supports UK patients with flexible hours, ensuring accessible care across the country.

Qualifications

• Active registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Experience in telemedicine or remote consultations.
• Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with strict patient confidentiality.
• Proficiency with digital health records and online clinics.

Responsibilities

• Review patient consultations and prescribe when appropriate.
• Prescribe treatments in line with clinical protocols and governance standards.
• Conduct video or telephone consultations when required.
• Respond to patient queries on treatment and side effects.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR system.
• Escalate safeguarding concerns and complete PSI reports.
• Contribute to development of clinical protocols and documentation.
• Participate in governance meetings and support remote service delivery.
• Work flexibly to meet patient demand across remote services.
