Job summary

True Potential LLP is seeking a highly experienced Pensions Technical Specialist to join our growing pensions team. This remote role, with occasional travel to Newcastle, offers the chance to work on complex DC pensions, SIPPs and SSASs and to drive technical excellence across our operations.

You will act as the technical expert for complex pension queries, interpret regulatory changes, support IDRP and complaints, and deliver training across the business while pushing for process improvements

Qualifications

• Extensive experience within pension administration and technical pensions.
• Strong knowledge of UK pension legislation and regulation.
• Experience with Personal Pensions, SIPPs and SSASs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience interpreting regulatory change and implementing improvements.
• Relevant financial services qualifications (R04, FPC, ACII or CF9) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical expert for complex pension and platform queries.
• Provide guidance on DC pensions, SIPPs and SSASs and pension taxation.
• Analyse and interpret pension legislation and regulatory changes.
• Support complaint handling, IDRP cases and technical escalations.
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Deliver technical training and knowledge sharing across the business.
• Contribute to pension and platform change projects.
