Job summary

Aspire Recruitment is recruiting for a Pensions Tutor who will work predominantly remotely, with quarterly travel to Manchester. The role involves coaching apprentices in pensions, developing learners' knowledge and skills, and delivering blended learning sessions. A background in pensions administration with a passion for developing others is ideal.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience within the Pensions industry, ideally in Pensions Administration.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or training colleagues in a professional environment.
• Strong knowledge of pensions processes and industry practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate, engage and inspire learners.
• Strong organisational skills and workload management.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and online learning platforms.
• Experience with management information systems and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of apprentices and support progression to programme outcomes.
• Coach and mentor learners to develop industry knowledge, skills and behaviours.
• Deliver engaging learning through virtual, digital, and one-to-one sessions.
• Create and adapt learning materials for apprentice development.
• Mark learner work and provide constructive feedback.
• Monitor learner progress against apprenticeship standards and KPIs.
• Identify and manage risks to learner achievement and implement support plans.
• Maintain accurate learner records and documentation.
• Support learners undertaking the Award in Pensions Essentials.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous professional development.
