Swanton Care is seeking a proactive PBS Practitioner to join our team, delivering face-to-face and remote training across England. The role requires driving to locations with some overnight stays; a vehicle is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 in PBS or equivalent (or willing to complete).
• Professional experience working with children and/or adults with Autism and learning disabilities and behaviours of concern. 1 year in a PBS role or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of support needs of people with Autism, learning disabilities and mental health disorders.
• Responsible for delivering face to face RRN accredited training programmes outlined by NAPPI UK to support maintaining our organisational training compliance.
• Equipping teams with skills to manage behaviour safely, respectfully, and within guidelines.
• Promoting proactive strategies to minimise restrictive practices and ensure safety.
• Must be a driver with access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 3–4 days of training per week with a day for admin tasks.
• Manage a caseload of people we support and conduct functional assessments.
• Develop and implement positive behaviour support plans.
• Lead practice development and training in PBS, Active Support and Physical Intervention.
