Job summary

EA First is seeking an experienced HR Manager or HR Consultant for a six‑month, part‑time, fully remote role. You will manage payroll for the UK and US, oversee benefits administration, recruitment, onboarding and ongoing HR operations across both regions.

The role requires solid knowledge of UK and US employment law, strong advisory skills and a hands‑on, proactive approach. You'll work two to three days per week, enjoy autonomy, and help shape HR policies and processes while ensuring

Qualifications

• Proven HR management or consulting experience.
• Working knowledge of UK and US employment law (basic US knowledge ok).
• Experience managing payroll, benefits, recruitment and lifecycle administration.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and support wherever needed.

• Providing practical HR advice and general support across the business
• Managing payroll processes for the UK & US and benefits administration

• Coordinating seamless onboarding and offboarding
• Managing HR systems, employee records and online portals
• Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures
• Creating and refining standard operating procedures
• Delivering employee and management training
• Managing employee relations cases confidently and sensitively
• Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with UK and US employment requirements
• Supporting general office and facilities management when required
