Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing practical HR advice and general support across the business
  • Managing payroll processes for the UK & US and benefits administration
  • Recruitment
  • Coordinating seamless onboarding and offboarding
  • Managing HR systems, employee records and online portals
  • Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures
  • Creating and refining standard operating procedures
  • Supporting and delivering employee and management training
  • Managing employee relations cases confidently and sensitively
  • Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with UK and US employment requirements
  • Supporting general office and facilities management when required
You will need:
  • Proven HR management or consulting experience
  • Working knowledge and practical experience of both UK and US employment law (for US law a basic knowledge is fine)
  • Experience managing a broad, operational HR workload
  • Confidence handling employee relations matters
  • Experience of payroll, benefits, recruitment and employee lifecycle administration
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a proactive, adaptable and solutions‑focused approach
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and support wherever needed

This role would suit an established HR Manager, People Manager, HR Business Partner, independent HR Consultant or maybe someone who has been more senior, who is looking for a rare part‑time opportunity that offers autonomy, variety and genuine responsibility.

If you're looking for a hands‑on HR role that offers flexibility without compromising on variety or responsibility, we'd love to hear from you.
