Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a Functional Assessor (Registered Paramedic) for a remote, permanent role. Starting salary £37,500 with OTE up to £44,275, with structured progression and bonus potential.

This position focuses on clinical judgement, evidence evaluation and high-quality written reports rather than hands-on care. Essential: active NMC/HCPC registration, minimum 1 year UK clinical experience, and strong written/verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional (NMC or HCPC) with current registration.
• Minimum 1 year UK clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
