Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a Functional Assessor (Registered Paramedic) for remote PIP assessments. You will evaluate how health conditions affect daily activities, focusing on professional assessment and evidenced-based reporting rather than hands-on care.

Requires UK registration (NMC/HCPC) and 1 year of clinical experience, with strong report writing and IT skills. Excellent remote-friendly role with structured progression and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 yearUK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed).
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence-based written reports.
