Job summary

Dentons Canada is seeking a paralegal to support the Structured Finance Banking team in a remote UK role. You will draft and manage structured finance documents, coordinate closings, and prepare for post‑completion steps while liaising with clients and fee earners.

The role requires a law qualification (2.1) and prior banking paralegal experience, with strong MS Office skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines. This is a permanent, remote position.

Qualifications

• Qualified in law with minimum 2.1.
• LPC or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
• Previous Banking paralegal experience.
• Interest in Structured Finance.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Draft basic structured finance documentation using precedents.
• Keep draft documentation well organised and up to date.
• Coordinate and prepare for transaction closings.
• Assist with post‑completion registrations or required steps.
• Produce transaction bibles and distribute documents at closing.
• Communicate with clients and counterparties professionally.
• Draft emails and correspondence for fee earners.
• Conduct legal research and review loan documents and due diligence.
• Provide administrative support to fee earners.
• File and maintain correspondence and documentation.
