Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Contract Relationship Manager for its Operations Control Division. You will own day-to-day relationships and contract management for OT suppliers supporting renewals and maintenance on the Strategic Road Network.

The role includes stakeholder management across internal departments and alignment with safety, service priorities, and organisational objectives. You will lead governance meetings, track performance against KPIs, and drive improvements while collaborating

Qualifications

• Contract management experience in regulated/public sector or complex infrastructure.
• Proven delivery of supplier performance management using KPIs and governance.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract management activities across the contract lifecycle.
• Plan, chair and minute monthly supplier governance meetings.
• Monitor contractual KPIs and service performance; trigger remedies as needed.
• Coordinate with Demand Management to translate future demand into forecasts.
• Drive continuous improvement and supplier development with measurable benefits.
