Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Contract Relationship Manager to own day-to-day relationships and contract management for OT suppliers supporting renewals and maintenance on the Strategic Road Network. You will be the primary point of contact and escalation, coordinating across internal departments to align supplier activities with safety and service priorities.

Qualifications

Experience in a regulated/public sector or complex infrastructure environment.
Proven delivery of supplier performance using KPIs, governance, and corrective action plans.
Ability to draft variations and formal supplier communications.

Responsibilities

Lead contract management activities across the contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with terms and governance.
Plan, chair, and minute monthly supplier governance meetings with clear actions and delivery plans.
Monitor contractual KPIs and service performance; produce regular reporting and improvement plans.
Coordinate with Demand Management to translate future demand into supplier forecasts and delivery readiness.
Drive continuous improvement and supplier development, tracking benefits and lessons learned.
