Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Contract Relationship Manager to own the day-to-day relationship and contract management for OT suppliers supporting renewals and maintenance on the Strategic Road Network. You will be the primary contact and escalation route, coordinating stakeholder management across internal departments to align with safety and service priorities.

This role is based in the UK with a balance of remote and office-based work, requiring governance across the OT Asset Improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated/public sector or complex infrastructure environments.
• Proven delivery of supplier performance management using KPIs and governance.
• Ability to align demand forecasts with supplier capacity and delivery plans.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract management activities across the contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with terms and governance requirements.
• Plan, chair, and minute monthly supplier governance meetings with clear actions and delivery plans.
• Monitor and manage contractual KPIs and service performance; trigger remedies as needed.
• Coordinate with Demand Management to translate future demand signals into supplier forecasts and capacity planning.
• Drive continuous improvement and supplier development, feeding lessons learned into procurement strategy.
