Qualifications

• Operational management experience in a busy customer-focused office or operations environment.
• Organised with strong people management skills and accountability.
• Subsidence knowledge desirable but not essential.
• Performance-focused with ability to manage workloads, productivity and service levels.
• Able to lead by example and maintain team morale.
• Decisive, resilient and adaptable in times of surge.
• Excellent communication and empathy with stakeholders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Claims Technicians to keep claims moving and ensure excellent service.
• Monitor team performance, handle day-to-day enquiries and provide coaching.
• Identify training needs and arrange development opportunities.
• Conduct appraisals and manage absence, fostering a positive team culture.
• Balance office and remote working to support work-life balance.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to meet service levels.
