Job summary

Randstad Student Support is seeking an experienced practitioner to deliver reflective group and individual supervision for the University of Southampton's Student Mental Health & Wellbeing team. The role supports practitioner wellbeing, professional practice, and resilience among approximately 45 staff in a higher education setting.

Supervision is non-clinical, focusing on case reflection, self-care, and ethical practice within HE.

Qualifications

Active professional registration with a UK body such as BACP, UKCP, BPS, NMC, SWE.
Substantial experience delivering clinical or reflective supervision to individuals or groups.
Experience in mental health, social care, or counselling sectors.
Familiarity with safeguarding protocols and risk governance.

Responsibilities

Deliver reflective group and 1-to-1 supervision sessions virtually or on-campus.
Foster a safe, confidential environment to discuss burnout, resilience and wellbeing.
Guide supervisees on professional boundaries, ethics, and multi-agency pathways.
Log session attendance, capture themes, and contribute to supervision reports.
Adhere to safeguarding and escalation protocols as needed.
