Job summary

Liquid Personnel Ltd is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist for Richmond Council's Adult Social Services team in a fully remote role. The position offers £31 per hour and duties include providing Duty OT cover and managing referrals.

You will join a small team of remote Occupational Therapists, screening referrals and delivering assessments for adults with complex needs while collaborating with partners for timely responses.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current HCPC registration is required.
• Significant experience in Adult Social Services.
• Experience with major adaptations and moving and handling.
• Strong communication, assessment and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Duty Occupational Therapy cover Monday to Friday.
• Screen and prioritise incoming Occupational Therapy referrals.
• Assess complex cases and determine appropriate interventions.
• Provide specialist advice regarding major adaptations and moving and handling.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies to ensure timely responses to referrals.
• Maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date case records.

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist for its client’s Adult Social Services team based in Richmond. This is a fully remote agency role offering £31 per hour, providing Duty OT cover and managing Occupational Therapy referrals within a supportive and collaborative team.

The Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join Richmond Council in a fully remote position. Working as part of a team of three remote Occupational Therapists, you will provide Duty OT cover and screen incoming Occupational Therapy referrals, ensuring timely and effective support for adults with complex needs. This role is ideally suited to an Occupational Therapist with a strong Adult Social Services background and extensive experience managing complex cases independently.
