Job summary

Matched in the United Kingdom is seeking a NodeJS Software Developer to own backend features from design to production. The role is mostly remote in England with an office in Berkshire for equipment collection on day one.

You will develop in NodeJS/TypeScript, build microservices, write tests, and work in a fast-moving Agile environment. Strong communication and experience with SQL/NoSQL databases are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in server-side development using Node.js/TypeScript for SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with NestJS and messaging systems (RabbitMQ).
• Experience with CI/CD principles and version control (Git).
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and writing tests (unit/integration).

Responsibilities

• Deliver backend features end-to-end (design to delivery, production-ready code) in a fast-moving agile team.
• Write scalable, high-performance server-side code in NodeJS and TypeScript.
• Build and contribute to microservices; own outcomes of delivery.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure quality across releases.
