Job summary

Forward Role Recruitment is seeking a senior backend Node.js developer for a SaaS business in Manchester on an initial 3-month contract. The role is centered on a greenfield platform within a small team, with largely remote work and occasional meetings in central Manchester.

You will primarily work with Node.js and TypeScript on AWS. React/Next.js exposure is a plus, but the focus remains backend. The engagement is outside IR35 and offers flexible working arrangements.

Job description

I'm looking for a senior backend Node.js developer to join a SaaS business in Manchester for the next 3 months.

The role is working across a new greenfield platform in a small development team. The role is outside IR35, and infrequent office visits for key meetings will be required in central Manchester.

I'm looking for someone who's got experience blasting through a load of tickets as part of an ongoing feature development roadmap for this new platform. The majority of the work will be Node.js and Typescript with AWS. Any wider fullstack experience with React/Next.js would be beneficial but this is overall a backend leaning role.

3 months initially, outside IR3, mostly remote.
