Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a NOC Engineer to manage production platforms in AWS, using Kubernetes and Docker, in a fully remote UK role.

You'll join an engineering-led team focused on reliability, automation, and continuous improvement, with a 24/7 rota and a competitive package including bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in Production Engineering, Cloud Operations or NOC environments.
• Proficient with AWS, Kubernetes and Docker in production settings.
• Hands-on production support and incident management experience.
• Familiar with monitoring/observability tools and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and maintaining highly available production platforms on AWS.
• Responding to and managing production incidents in a 24/7 service.
• Investigating complex issues and restoring services quickly.
• Developing automation to reduce manual tasks and improve resilience.
• Building and improving monitoring, alerting and observability.
• Collaborating with Software, Platform, Cloud and Security teams.
• Contributing to post-incident reviews and continual improvements.
• Supporting containerised workloads using Kubernetes and Docker.
