Job summary

One Health is seeking an experienced NHS Neurophysiology consultant to join the team and provide high-quality neurophysiology services to patients across South Yorkshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. The role involves assessing and investigating referred NHS patients, including EMGs, NCS and complex spinal cases.

The post requires travel to outreach sites and the ability to work remotely from various locations, with a focus on patient care and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• GMC registration with no hearings or restrictions.
• Experience in a similar NHS or private setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and investigate NHS patients referred through the NHS e-Referral System.
• Undertake neurophysiology investigations, including EMGs, NCS and complex spinal cases.
• Hold appointments at outreach clinic sites, with a focus on South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.
• Travel across Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.
• Work remotely from various locations.
• Support and grow the Neurophysiology team.
• Complete the onboarding process and gain approval from the Clinical Governance Lead.
• Obtain practising privileges for each hospital where procedures are undertaken.
