Job summary

Directive Consulting in Irvine, a remote-friendly agency, seeks a designer to craft performance-driven ads across LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube and TikTok, translating ideas into assets that drive KPIs.

Ideal candidate: 1–3 years in graphic design with motion graphics, strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere/After Effects), and experience with CRO tools. Teamwork and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in graphic design, with a focus on performance-driven creative and CRO.
• 1 year experience with motion graphics.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign.
• Basic video editing and motion graphics experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge and execution of performance marketing metrics like A/B Testing, CRO Analytics, Heatmapping, and experience designing for performance-driven campaign.
• Driven to stay ahead of industry trends, including actively learning how AI and automation can enhance marketing and operations.

Responsibilities

• Craft compelling design assets such as ad sets and landing pages, backed by data to drive KPI improvements.
• Produce motion graphics and short-form video cutdowns optimized for social media advertising.
• Edit existing video assets into high-performing ad units aligned with platform specs.
• Collaborate with media and content teams to align motion creative with goals and insights.
• Maintain brand consistency across static, motion, and video assets while adapting to audiences.
• Collaborate with internal and client teams to understand business goals and data points for A/B testing.
• Design and implement A/B tests and CRO experiments using optimization tools.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and heat mapping to validate decisions.
• Continuously iterate designs based on feedback and data insights.
• Manage multiple design projects and communicate status with stakeholders.
• Stay updated on CRO and UX trends and technologies.
