Job summary

Connells Group is recruiting for a Fast Track Mortgage Advisor Academy. This 16-month program offers a clear path to become a fully CII qualified Mortgage & Protection Advisor, with initial 11 weeks of office-based training in Manchester and subsequent home-based work.

The role is telephone-based, focusing on delivering quality advice and sales to customers, with a target of 14+ mortgages plus protection monthly.

Qualifications

• Strong desire to work in Financial Services (mortgages and protection).
• Recent graduation 2:1 or higher or strong track record in sales.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills; able to explain complex info clearly.
• Extremely well organised with disciplined approach to work.
• Competent IT user including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Extensive induction & training with a strong development program.

Responsibilities

• Advise and sell mortgages and protection to customers.
• Contact customers, secure appointments and progress applications.
• Telephone-based role with emphasis on high activity (14+ mortgages + protection per month).
• Work from home after completing initial training period; office-based training in Manchester for 11 weeks.
