Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; advanced degrees preferred.
• Proven experience in document QC and/or medical writing in pharma/biotech.
• Experience interfacing with cross-functional study teams.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical trials.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and execute multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead or co-lead moderately complex projects, managing time and resources effectively.
• Contribute to departmental work with current knowledge and skills.
• Make decisions to resolve moderately complex problems within policy guidance.
• Work independently on assignments with appropriate guidance for complex problems.
• Review own work, seek feedback, and mentor colleagues by reviewing their work.
• Leverage experience to become a resource for others.
• Collaborate with project team experts to develop document strategies and messages.
• Ensure documents meet internal standards, are submission-ready, and properly stored.
• Verify document accuracy using source materials including clinical regulatory docs.
• Lead teams of authors on complex projects, perform quality control, and train colleagues on standards.
