Job summary

Havas Lynx Group is seeking a Medical Editor for a 3-month FTC role based remotely within the UK. The candidate will ensure medical accuracy, edit a variety of materials, and work closely with the medical writing team to support pitches and client deliverables.

Ideal applicants have 2+ years in medical editing within an agency, a science degree, and familiarity with ABPI standards across multiple therapeutic areas. The role offers a supportive environment and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Medical Editor in an agency setting.
• Experience working with global pharmaceutical companies.
• Experience working directly with clients.
• Solid scientific background and experience across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Ability to quickly learn new therapy areas and convey confidence to clients.
• A degree in Science.
• Understanding of clinical research, drug development, and industry guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure information and data are correct and accurate.
• Use proofreading skills to ensure materials are medically correct.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical editing across a range of materials.
• Understand industry codes of practice and ABPI guidelines.
• Know clients and their projects, including therapy areas and portfolios.
• Collaborate with medical writing teams to meet project objectives.
• Assist on pitches and client account work.
• Adhere to budgets and timelines and update the team on changes.
