Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Medical Editor in an agency setting.
• Experience working with global pharmaceutical companies.
• Experience working directly with clients.
• Solid scientific background; experience across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Ability to learn new therapy areas quickly; build client confidence.
• A degree in Science.
• Understanding of clinical research, drug development processes, and industry guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure information and data are correct.
• Proofread materials for medical accuracy.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical editing across materials.
• Understand ABPI codes of practice and legislation.
• Know clients and their projects, including portfolios.
• Work with medical writing teams to meet projects and objectives.
• Assist on pitches and client account work.
• Adhere to budgets and timelines; keep team updated on changes.
