Job summary

Havas Lynx Group, a global healthcare advertising agency in Northampton, seeks a Medical Editor for a 3 month FTC with remote UK options. You will ensure medically accurate content across materials, working closely with the medical writing teams, ABPI guidelines, and client projects.

The role requires 2+ years in medical editing at an agency, science degree, and ability to learn new therapy areas quickly. Excellent client collaboration and budget adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Medical Editor in an agency setting.
• Experience working with global pharmaceutical companies.
• Experience working directly with clients.
• Solid scientific background with experience in various therapeutic areas.
• Ability to learn and understand new therapy areas quickly and comprehensively.
• A degree in Science.
• Understanding of clinical research, drug development process, and industry guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the information and data is correct and accurate.
• Use proofreading skills to ensure materials are medically correct.
• Demonstrate knowledge of medical editing across a range of materials.
• Understand ABPI codes of practice and legislation.
• Know clients and their projects, therapy areas and portfolios.
• Work with medical writing teams to meet projects and objectives.
• Assist on pitches and client account work.
• Adhere to budgets and timelines, keep the team updated with changes.
