Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in media relations, PR, or a communications role with a strong outreach focus.
• Proven track record of successful media pitching and securing coverage.
• Extensive network of media contacts across various sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research relevant media outlets, journalists, and influencers for outreach.
• Develop and execute targeted media outreach plans to secure coverage.
• Craft compelling pitches, press releases, and media materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts.
• Manage incoming media inquiries and coordinate responses.
• Monitor media coverage and report on outreach effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the internal communications team on campaign strategies.
• Identify and leverage opportunities for positive brand visibility.
• Organise and facilitate media briefings and interviews (virtually).
• Stay up-to-date with media trends and industry news.
