Placements24 seeks a highly analytical Remote Manufacturing Process Analyst to support operations remotely. You will analyze manufacturing data, identify trends, and drive improvements across facilities, including the Randburg site.

You will work independently, using Excel, SQL, Python, R and BI tools to develop dashboards and reports, collaborating virtually with on-site teams to implement data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Process Analyst or Data Analyst in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and remote communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Develop reports and dashboards to visualize KPIs and process metrics.
• Collaborate virtually with plant managers, engineers, and production staff to understand challenges and propose solutions.
• Recommend process optimizations and efficiency improvements based on data-driven insights.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and methodologies to enhance operations.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure accurate reporting for decision-making.
