Job summary

The RSPB is inviting applications for a part-time Management Accountant – Restricted Income. The role is remote with occasional UK travel to the HQ in Sandy and other locations.

It is a 12-month, 30-hours-per-week contract, offering a pro-rata salary of £40,381–£43,113 per annum and a pension and life assurance scheme. You will lead the implementation of the OCR overhead cost recovery, develop controls, provide financial analysis, and train Finance partners and project managers to support

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in financial analysis and modelling, including management accounting activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and embedding of the OCR methodology across finance systems.
• Manage overhead recovery monitoring and financial reporting for test projects.
• Maintain OCR costing tools and develop guidance, templates, and annual budgeting timetable.
• Deliver training and support for Finance Business Partners and project managers.
• Design and document a sustainable BAU operating model with clear ownership and controls.
