Job summary

Y-Axis is seeking a full-time Logistics Coordinator to manage international shipments (sea and air) and coordinate freight forwarders and carriers. Remote work option is available, with immediate start.

You will book shipments, prepare documents, monitor container movements, report performance metrics, and collaborate with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams. Strong knowledge of Incoterms and hands-on problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Background in freight forwarding or international logistics, with hands-on experience in sea freight and some air freight.
• Strong understanding of Incoterms, transport flows, and international shipping processes.
• Operational, hands-on mindset with ownership of shipments and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage international shipments (sea and air) with freight forwarders and carriers.
• Book shipments, schedule deliveries, and prepare all required shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, customs paperwork).
• Monitor container movements and proactively resolve delays or issues.
• Track and report logistics performance metrics.
• Act as the main point of contact for freight forwarders and carriers.
• Provide clear updates on shipment status and transport issues to internal teams and custom.
• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Generate reports on shipment performance and cost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions.
• Support stock accuracy through remote audits and cycle counts.
• Assist with inventory control procedures as required.
