Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Freight Operations Specialist to join a fully remote team. You will coordinate end-to-end freight movements, manage carrier relationships, and optimize processes from your home office.

This role requires freight forwarding know-how, customs procedures, and strong communication skills. You will work on international and domestic shipments, ensuring compliance, timely delivery, and cost efficiency while collaborating with virtual teams across time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics operations, or a similar role.
• Proven experience working effectively in a remote or distributed team environment.
• In-depth knowledge of international shipping procedures, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with freight management software and standard office applications.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
