Job summary

Servers.com, powered by Nexcess, is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support global operations. You will advise senior leadership on contract negotiation, corporate governance, data privacy, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced tech environment.

You’ll draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, maintain templates and playbooks, and coordinate external counsel while balancing legal risk with business objectives across multiple jurisdictions. Remote/hybrid working available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent).
5-7 years post-qualification legal experience in corporate and commercial law.
Experience drafting and reviewing contracts; knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, and employment law.”
Strong GDPR and EU privacy-law knowledge.
Excellent written and verbal English; capable of operating in a multinational environment.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of complex agreements across commercial and corporate matters.
Maintain and evolve contract templates and playbooks for key agreements.
Advise on employment law matters including hiring, terminations, and restructurings.
Identify legal risks and provide practical risk-mitigation guidance on privacy, data, AI, and compliance.
Support corporate governance, due diligence, and cross-border M&A activities.
Create and maintain internal policies on data retention, privacy, AI, and compliance.
Coordinate and manage external counsel as needed.
