Job summary

Venn Group's Public Sector Legal team is recruiting a Locum Legal Advisor to join on an interim basis for 6–9 months. The position is remote with occasional office attendance and centres on drafting, reviewing and amending straightforward contracts and legal documents for a public sector client.

A law degree or legal qualification is essential; experience drafting or reviewing contracts is advantageous. The role offers an hourly umbrella rate of £40–£45, with expectations to work independently

Qualifications

• Requires strong drafting and reviewing of contracts.
• Experience with non-disclosure agreements advantageous.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and amend straightforward contracts and legal documents.
• Review NDAs and related materials for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with drafting and review of purchase agreements and other routine commercial matters.
• Provide practical support on routine contractual matters to the legal team.
• Support the wider legal team with general commercial work as required.
