Job summary

Jobgether SRL seeks a Lead AI Systems Architect (Data-Centric AI & Multimodal) based in the United Kingdom. You will lead AI pipeline design, data extraction workflows, and scalable infrastructure across vision, speech, and text models.

The role requires senior expertise in multimodal AI, production LLM orchestration, and guiding junior developers. Remote-friendly with open-source deployment focus and cost-aware engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied AI, NLP or CV experience.
• Experience designing multimodal pipelines integrating vision, speech and text models.
• Proficiency in Python and DL frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Experience with production LLM orchestration and structured output tools (DSPy, Instructor, Pydantic, LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• Hands-on fine-tuning and serving open-source models using vLLM, TGI, or similar.
• Experience with vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation at scale.
• Ability to set best practices, make architectural decisions, and mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, implementation, and optimization of AI-powered data systems for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Design multimodal pipelines combining vision, audio, and text components.
• Build extraction frameworks to produce validated JSON outputs.
• Migrate workloads to open-source models and manage inference infrastructure.
• Lead data labeling quality via data-centric AI techniques and active learning.
• Define architectural roadmaps and engineering standards; mentor junior developers.
• Support development of scalable AI enrichment workflows and retrieval systems.
