Job summary

DeterTech is seeking an IoT-focused engineer to bridge hardware and software for the ARC platform. You will integrate alarm devices, telemetry streams and remote commands, working with embedded teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating software with IoT/hardware devices.
• Understanding alarm/ARC signalling standards (SIA, Contact ID, IP).
• Strong Laravel/PHP skills for APIs and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain IoT/hardware integrations with alarm devices, sensors, gateways.
• Ingest, decode and process device telemetry and commands via MQTT, WebSockets, TCP/UDP.
• Develop secure RESTful and event-driven APIs linking device management with ARC platform and portals.
• Drive device feature evolution from manual toggles to telemetry-driven automations.
• Collaborate across hardware, firmware, product, design and manufacturing teams to deliver milestones.
