Job summary

CAI is seeking a highly motivated IT Project Manager to lead multiple large IT initiatives aboard cruise ships and in related deployment environments. This 18‑month remote contract requires strong PM discipline, superb stakeholder communication, and the ability to steer complex programs across international sites.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
• Experience managing multiple IT projects within budgets and timelines.

• Ability to travel internationally for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple IT projects concurrently from initiation through deployment.
• Coordinate 20–40 deployment projects across shipboard systems and venues.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, risk logs, and status reports.
• Partner with Product, Infrastructure, Development, Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, and Operations teams.
• Coordinate resources and monitor workload to meet deadlines.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, stakeholders, vendors, and business partners.
• Track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review deployment plans, testing requirements, and handoff materials.
• Monitor hardware procurement, inventory, and deployment readiness.
• Lead project status meetings and provide milestone updates.
• Drive continuous process improvements and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with PM methodologies and quality standards.
• Support team development and collaboration across project teams.
• Lead hands-on project execution activities and drive deliverables to completion.
• Support deployments aboard cruise ships during new-build and dry dock initiatives.
• Coordinate activities across domestic and international project sites.
