Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Project Manager to lead software and infrastructure projects within a Defence & Security portfolio. You will report to the Programme Manager and drive delivery of projects to scope, schedule, budget and quality, in a remote setting.

Essential experience includes delivery of complex software/infrastructure initiatives, strong stakeholder and supplier management, and robust planning, budgeting, and governance capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven delivery of software and/or infrastructure projects in enterprise environments.
• Strong stakeholder and supplier management capabilities.
• Solid experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, reporting.
• Confident risk/issue management and mitigation.
• Knowledge of PRINCE2 / Agile / Waterfall / hybrid methods.
• Security clearance suitable for Defence & Security work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver software and infrastructure projects end-to-end (initiation through completion).
• Build and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
• Coordinate internal delivery teams, business stakeholders, and third-party suppliers.
• Manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
• Track performance and provide governance / status reporting.
• Ensure adherence to governance, security, change control and delivery processes.
• Support budgeting, planning, and delivery oversight across stakeholders.
