Job summary

NEC Software Solutions is seeking a Mid Level Interaction Designer with strong GDS experience to join our multidisciplinary team on a high-visibility NHS/GOV.UK project. This is a 3 month contract role with remote work and potential extension, starting around 12 October 2026.

You will deliver interaction designs, user journeys, wireframes and prototypes using Figma, GOV.UK NHS toolkits and HTML-based prototyping, collaborating in an Agile environment with stakeholders across services.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering interaction design for NHS, GOV.UK or GDS projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interaction design across a GDS project.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Create user journeys, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate designs.
• Ensure accessibility compliance and WCAG standards.
