Job summary

Confidential, a UK-wide remote role, seeks an Insurance Operations Coordinator for London Market operations. You will oversee the delivery of operational services for assigned clients, focusing on performance, quality, and continuous improvement.

As SME for the client, you will coordinate with third-party providers, manage outsourcing, perform training, maintain process documentation, supervise agency activities, and handle credit control, reconciliation, and compliance checks.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive experience in the insurance industry.
• Client facing experience is required.
• Experience with policy administration systems (PAS).
• Familiarity with underwriting, claims, and renewal workflows.
• Strong Excel skills for reconciliation and reporting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure effective delivery of operational services for assigned clients.
• Act as SME for the client and provide guidance across day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate with third-party service providers for smooth delivery.
• Identify activities for offshoring in line with priorities and efficiency goals.
• Deliver training and process knowledge to the outsourced services team.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation for accurate delivery.
• Primary point of contact for the outsourced services team and escalation as needed.
• Oversee agency management activities including onboarding and due diligence.
• Own and perform credit control and reconciliations, including cash allocations and statements.
• Manage task workflows to align with SLAs and deliverables.
• Support regulatory checks and internal controls for compliance.
• Contribute to onboarding new clients and defining service scopes.
• Assist with development of new operational services and systems.
• Attend Service Review Meetings to discuss performance and improvements.
