Placements24 is seeking a forward-thinking Remote Industrial Engineer specializing in Data Analytics & Optimization. This fully remote role leverages data to drive improvements across industrial operations, analyzing large datasets, developing predictive models, and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Industrial Engineering, Data Science or Statistics.
• 5+ years of industrial engineering experience with a focus on data analytics and optimization.
• Proficiency in Python, R and SQL for data analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI) and statistical software.
• Strong understanding of optimization, simulation modeling and ML concepts.
• Excellent remote communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various industrial processes and systems.
• Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms for process optimization and predictive maintenance.
• Design and build interactive dashboards and reports to visualize KPIs and insights.
• Collaborate remotely with teams to translate data findings into actionable recommendations.
• Identify trends, patterns, and root causes of inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions.
• Stay updated with advances in data analytics, AI, and industrial engineering best practices.
