Job summary

Boots UK, via the Boots Online Doctor team in Nottingham, is seeking an experienced Independent Prescribing Pharmacist/Nurse to join our online care service. Provide expert remote care and guidance to patients accessing healthcare from home.

This is a dynamic role in a start-up style team with flexible training and development. You will undertake online consultations, prescribe when appropriate, and ensure safe, compliant practice.

Qualifications

• GPhC or NMC registration.
• Independent Prescribing Qualification.
• Experience consulting with patients and making independent decisions.

Responsibilities

• Undertake online consultations and prescribe when appropriate.
• Clinically review and authorise private prescriptions, including controlled drug prescriptions where legally appropriate.
• Follow our strict guidelines for prescribing.
• Use our secure IT platform for all patient interactions.
• Act as the Responsible Pharmacist for a dispensary during designated periods.
