Job summary

Boots UK is recruiting Independent Prescribing Pharmacists for a permanent hybrid role in Hartlepool. You will spend three days remote with Boots Online Doctor and two days in Boots Healthcare Centres delivering clinical services and applying your prescribing qualification.

You’ll work across digital and face-to-face settings, collaborating with pharmacists and prescribers to ensure safe, patient-centered care while maintaining governance and quality standards.

Qualifications

• GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
• recognised Independent Prescribing qualification.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Confidence working autonomously within your scope of practice.
• Excellent consultation and communication skills, both remotely and face-to-face.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote consultations and clinical assessments.
• Make evidence-based prescribing decisions within scope.
• Provide treatment, advice, safety-netting and referrals.
• Deliver face-to-face clinical and pharmacy services in Boots Healthcare Centre.
• Assess, treat and support patients using IP qualification.
• Collaborate with Pharmacists, Prescribers and wider teams.
• Maintain patient safety and governance standards.
• Support growth of digital and Healthcare Centre services.
