Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Examiner for International Advanced Level History (2016 specification). This fully remote role involves marking candidates' responses to the pre-defined mark scheme from home, with allocated scripts and strict adherence to exam procedures.

Most marking is done onscreen using ePEN, with some scripts still processed by post; candidates must demonstrate a high level of subject knowledge and reliability to meet deadlines during the May–July marking period.

Qualifications

• One academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years.
• A degree or equivalent.
• You will be a qualified teacher.

Responsibilities

• To mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained
• To submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times
• To ensure milestones for marking are adhered to
• To ensure all administration is completed as specified Experience/qualifications needed
