Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Examiner for International Advanced Level History (2016 specification). The position is fully remote, with marking often done from home via ePEN or traditional paper scripts, depending on subject.

An agreed allocation of scripts will be provided, with marking milestones and regular submissions to the Team Leader. The role covers the May–July marking period, with training scheduled May–June.

Qualifications

• One academic year's teaching experience (within the last 8 years).
• Degree or equivalent.
• Qualified teacher.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme.

Responsibilities

• Mark candidates' responses accurately and consistently.
• Submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times.
• Ensure marking milestones are adhered to.
• Complete all required administration as specified.
